The Princess and The Cows

This is my new favorite picture in the entire world. You can't see it, but there is a silver crown involved, oh yes, a crown with pink feathers. And in the right hand...a wand. Of course, when I saw this picture for the first time (or perhaps the second) I noted the looks on the faces of the cows. Take a peek. What are those cows thinking as this tiny little princess skips their way? To me, aside from the effervescent skip and carefree wand waving, the cows thoughts are what really spark my interest.

So, so, so, thankful for the princess and the cows.

Nano Wrimo Part Deux

So what could I POSSIBLY be doing so that I would neglect my blog and my handful of blog readers for so long? Writing.

Check it out, so this is my word count for my Nano Wrimo so far. Goal 50,000 words by the end of November. However my goal is actually a little bigger...I want between 67,000 and 70,000 words by the end of this month. Why? Because the first draft is the hardest to write. I am currently working on the first draft of a Young Adult manuscript and once I have the first draft I can rewrite, and hone and polish and do all those other time consuming yet lovely things that authors do to make their writing readable...but only after I've completed the FIRST DRAFT. So wish me well...

In other news we are off to Disneyland this week so that the children can experience the happiest place on earth with their grandmother and cousins.
